The closing date for pre-draft submissions to the Kilkenny County &
City Development Plans 2014-2020 was 24th August 2012. Kilkenny Local
Authorities wish to express their appreciation to those who made
submissions, commented on the website or attended the public consultation
meetings about the Plans.
A report is being prepared on the pre-draft public consultation process,
summarising the issues raised and outlining the response of the County
Manager. This report will be distributed to the Elected Members of
Kilkenny County and Borough Councils shortly. The Councillors will
consider the Manager’s Report at Council meetings later this year. The
Manager’s Report will be made public at that stage.
For your information, public consultation on the proposed new pedestrian
bridge over the River Nore in the city has commenced. Further information
